A light and spacious new villa constructed using traditional techniques.
The design for this new Villa was inspired by the Regency period, a time when red brick was thought too harsh in the landscape and there was a demand for very light interiors. The view from the front door goes right through the house which creates space and a connection to the landscape. The bedrooms are placed in the four corners upstairs and are reached by a broad landing the full width of the house - this functions as a spacious long gallery that can be used to hang pictures. The spaciousness of the villa is reflected in the quiet country lane it faces and the open landscape it overlooks.
