Traditional barn conversion.
We recently converted a traditional barn that can be dated to 1245 into this comfortable, spacious dwelling. This involved extensive work to the outer walls, which were reconstructed. The modern agricultural building was demolished and replaced with a brick and flint living space. To preserve the look and feel of the barn we repaired various oak timbers and replaced some of the rafters and purlins with new oak.
