New Construction Works
| We have recently begun the construction of a 7000ft2 Georgian style property near Andover in Hampshire. The project replaces a Manor House which was situated on the same site but unfortunately was destroyed by fire in the 1940's. The project will be completed over a two year period. Other new construction works have included a major extension to a prestigious property in Kingston-upon-Thames, the extension and sensitive alteration of Basingstoke Lodge, Hackwood Park and a barn conversion and a swimming complex, using a traditional oak framed building.
Within the past few years we have also completed projects including the construction of a gymnasium complex, near Basingstoke, a Queen Anne style property at Alresford and major extensions to properties in Long Sutton and Eversley.

Historic Building Works
| Recent historic building projects have included a restoration to Jane Austen's Chawton House and works for the National Trust at Hinton Ampner, The Vyne, Mottisfont Abbey and Ashdown Park. In addition, we have completed historic repairs to Buriton Manor, an important Grade 2 listed country house near Petersfield and the restoration of Court Farmhouse near Overton. Works to private houses have included major renovations to a Lutyens style property in Winchester, renovations to a 15th century timber framed manor house at Littleton and restoration of the West Wing and roofing at the Duke of Wellington's house at Stratfield Saye. Many of these projects have also required extensive landscaping works, which we are happy to complete. In addition we have completed a project to extend Esher Church and have carried out restoration works to over a hundred different churches in Hampshire.

Current Projects
We currently have a number of interesting projects in progress. The first, for Grange Park Opera Ltd, involves the conversion of the picture gallery at The Grange Near Alresford, a neoclassical country house, into a theatre for live opera performances. This project has been completed in two Phases with an opera season in between! Apart from the construction of the new opera theatre, the project consists of rebuilding the external wall of Robert Smirke's Wing using traditional finishes and materials to emulate the original "Parker's" Roman cement render which William Wilkins used to create his Greek revival conversion of the Grange circa 1809. All mouldings and cornices to the wall will be run using traditional running horse moulds. The new stage block is to have a green roof planted with sustainable grasses, shrubs and plants. The North and West walls of the stage block, at low-level, will be built in traditional knapped chalk flint and handmade Hampshire red brick dressings with natural oak boarding above and up to the eaves.
The internal horse shoe shaped auditorium is based on William Wilkins own horse shoe plan which he designed for Bury St Edmunds Theatre.
The external envelope and internal opera house seating stage was complete for the 2002 opera season and the traditional finishes to the Smirke wall and stage block will be completed during the summer of 2003.
Other projects include the complete restoration of Kimpton Manor, a fifteenth century timber framed manor house, restoration of a Victorian farmhouse near Romsey, the restoration of a sixteenth century timber framed farm house near Alresford, the restoration of an old water mill near Hungerford and many other projects to churches and other historically important buildings in and around Hampshire.
